Axel Owen
Axel Owen is a Venezuelan architect from a family of architects, based in Ecuador. For more than a decade he has practiced across borders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and, since 2018, serving clients across the United States through his own studio. His work includes more than 50 completed projects, from custom homes to a wellness eco resort in the Finger Lakes of New York and a ranch lodge in Texas, as well as Shell Cabin, a modular tiny home with more than 500 sales. He has always wanted to bring creators together so they can take on work larger than any of them could alone. Patterns of Unity is how he is building that: a network of equals where every professional keeps ownership of their work and gets seen for it.
Role
Founder & CEO
The Founder & CEO sets the direction of Patterns of Unity and is responsible for the network as a whole. This role shapes the vision and the standards that every branch follows, decides who joins the team, and makes the final call on how the platform grows. It also stays close to the work itself: reviewing creator profiles and projects, building relationships with clients and institutions, and making sure every decision keeps the network a place of equals where creators own their work.
